Echo EMS for Cardiac arrest with CPR in progress
Dec 14th 2011 - at 1000hrs SHFD EMS responded for a working cardiac arrest. Upon arrival of SHFD EMS-10
crew of 2 found a unresponsive apnex/pulseless patient. CPR continued AED analyzed and allowed 1 shock
prior to Mohawks arrival. Strong efforts from SHFD and Mohawk Ambulance crews which went unseccessful
outcome.  The 2 member team spent just under 45 minutes on scene prior to being placed in service.
Transmitted MVA with injuries for the Heights.
Dec 4th 2011- Just after 1320hrs members were activated for an accident with multiple vehicle unknown patients. R-10
responded upon arriving found 1 entrapped, cribbing went in place for a simple door removal. After the door was removed
Mohawk Ambulance Service with SHFD assisting packaged the patient for transport. Clean-up of minor debris. 10 Members
taken about 1 hour at this event.
Transmitting a Possible Structure with Midway
Dec 6th 2011 - at 1109hrs Colonie Dispatch transmitted a structure fire box. Just about 5 minutes after
transmission Midway issued all mutual aid to stand-fast. Unfounded and placed all companies in service. 5
Members responded to this event.
Reported Car Fire at Five Guys
Dec 5th 2011 - Just after 0900hrs, members responded to a reported vehicle fire in the parking lot of Five Guys.
Upon R-10 arrival Car 58 ordered R-10 to lay a 50ft section attack line for a engine block fire. Officers from
Niskayuna PD attempted to put the fire out with knocking the fire down with 2 10lb dry-chem extinguishers.  About
25 minutes past with a total 9 members responded to this event.

Another MVA on Balltown
Dec 24th 2011 - Just after 1600hrs, members responded to a reported MVA in the Mohawk Commons parking
lot. units responding was 880, R-10 and Engine 430. Members found that a person was struck and had internal
injuries. Mohawk Ambulance transported. 11 members spending 25 minutes on this event.
Reported Car Fire
Dec 16th 2011 - Just after 1200hrs, members responded to a reported vehicle fire. Car 58 responded found a
vehicle into a tree with smoke showing. All occupants are out ordered R-10 crew to stretch out the front bumper
attack line. Crews found a engine compartment fire that a bystander used a dry-chem to knock down most of the
fire prior to crews arriving. The crew needed to use the combi-tool to open the hood for investigation. Took over 1
hour and 12 members responded to this event.

A  Echo EMS Transmitted
Dec 2nd 2011- Just after 1900hrs, SHFD members activated for a Cardiac arrest EMS response. EMS-10 responded with
unsuccessful attempts. The subject surcumbed to the illness. A total of 10 members responded to this event
Stanford Heights Requested for Niskayuna Fire District 2
Dec 1st 2011- At around 0620hrs, Members was placed in service for approx. 1 hour for Niskayuna Fire District #2 as they
worked at a scene of a residential fire.  
Engine 433 responded to this event. A total of 13 members was in attendance in this
event.
A Vehicle Fire Reported for Stanford Heights.
Dec 2nd 2011- On  around 1240 hrs, Members again placed in service for a reported of a vehicle fire. Unites responeded
Commanded by Car 58, found that a vehicle out on a test drive blew its head and caused a smoke condtion at Balltown road
and State street. Fire units spent 10 minutes on-scene. R-10, Car 58 responeded, a total of 12 members on hand for this
event.
